WHAT GIVES YOU ACCESS TO GOD?

THE BLOOD OF JESUS GIVES US ACCESS TO GOD.
What can wash away our sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Revelation 12:11 says: And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.(NKJV)

Why is the blood important? The blood is important because of the remission of sin.
When you take care of the accuser of the brethren (satan) through the declaration of the blood of Jesus, the first thing that comes in is salvation. Salvation is not just about been born again. Salvation is Sozo. SOZO is the original Greek word for salvation. Salvation means deliverance from sickness, operation, poverty, death. Once you receive deliverance, you begin to walk into abundance immediately. When you take care of satan’s accusation, you begin to walk in liberty.
You can’t exercise faith with sin consciousness. When the accuser of the brethren is taken care of, boldness and strength comes to you and dominion begins to manifest. Dominion is only possible when man is connected to God.

3 MAJOR WEAPONS THAT ENABLES A BELIEVER OVERCOME SATAN.
If the Bible should talk about overcomers that means there are obstacles. The sin of Adam affected the whole creation.
Romans 8:20 says: For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope;(NKJV)

Humanity did not come by itself to submit to satan, Adam’s sin brought creation under bondage and corruption.

Romans 8:21 says; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.(NKJV)

All the troubles we are seeing in the world are not God’s creation and purpose. But Adam’s sin pulled away the glory of God and corruption came upon the earth.

Romans 3:10 says: As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one;(NKJV)

This is the condition of humanity, everyone that is born in this world.

Romans 3:23 says; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,(NKJV)

Revelation 12:11 says: Revelation 12:10-11 says: Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.(NKJV)

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony: What does this mean? This is not the testimony that you share among your brothers and sisters in the church. The blood of the lamb is one of the most powerful weapons but most underrated. satan knows the power of the blood. It is the tool that defeats satan. You can’t approach God by your merit. When Adam sinned something happened, his sin had three effect.
1.      First, it affected God almighty, man lost access to God.

Romans 3:23 says: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,(NKJV)

What covers the earth is the glory of God. It was this glory that was covering Adam and this was lost by the sin of Adam. When God ask Adam where are you, the first thing Adam did was to cover his nakedness. God killed an animal and put the blood in-between him and Adam and carried the skin of that animal to wrap Adam. Because of this God declared that all have sinned and come short of His glory.
2. The 2nd thing sin affected was man. Sin consciousness was created in man. Sin consciousness is one of the biggest enemies of the church.
3. The 3rd place that sin had an impact was before satan: Sin is a legal document. Sin gave satan boldness and legal ground to act.  The major consequence of sin is judgment. God spoke to Abraham that the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah has come up before me. And Abraham began to negotiate with God. The time of Noah was so severe that God apologized to Himself for creating the world. One of the things that satan does is to get a believer to have sin consciousness. Sin provokes judgment which is the main target of satan.
Why is the blood important? The blood is important for remission of sins.

THERE ARE 3 LAWS THAT BREAKS THE CYCLE OF DEFEAT.
1st is the law of resistance: As you keep on resisting sin, it will definitely break. But this does not work every time. The law of resistance does not solve the entire problem.
2nd is the law of environment: The Bible said “flee every appearance of evil”. There are certain things that thrive under the law of environment. The law in breaking the law of defeat is the proper environment; you need to be in the right environment. God is not impressed by your ability to withstand sin. Every wise man knows his limitation.
3rd is the law of displacement: You can’t wipe out a law. You can’t wipe out the law of sin and death but you can displace it. No matter how much light you have in a room, it will not totally wipe out darkness. Light displaces darkness but darkness still exists. No matter how much you use the Holy Ghost to deal with the issues of sin, you might still have some issues, you don’t live above sin. This is the reason why you need the blood to displace sin. There are certain things you do that you think are ok which are not. The law of displacement cannot displace completely.

Romans 8:2 says: For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death.(AMP)

There is no law of eradication. As long as you are still in the body, there is no time that sin or weakness will be totally eradicated.
Romans 8:10 says: But if Christ lives in you, [then although] your [natural] body is dead by reason of sin and guilt, the spirit is alive because of [the] righteousness [that He imputes to you].(AMP)

You can apply these three laws and after that, you will still fall short, that is why you must apply the blood of Jesus. The blood is the only thing that gives you 100% result. Before God the issue of sin was resolved. If God wants to bless you, iniquity will not allow Him do that because is not His nature. The 1st effect that Jesus provided was the positive effect. attornment means to cover sin, and in New Testament it is not attornment it is called remission.
What a sinner needs is not forgiveness but remission because his nature is sin. After remission, he can then ask for forgiveness. The blood helps us settle an account with God. The moment you are born into this world, there is a debt in your head which you supposed to pay. But Jesus took care of this by dying for all of us.

Hebrews 10:5-10 says: Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and [sacrifices] for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and [offering] for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure [therein]; which are offered by the law; Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once [for all].(KJV)
He took away the first and established the seconed. Jesus came to do the will of God. we
Hebrews 10:11 says: And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:(KJV)

Every year the priests offer blood for sacrifices. This works one year only. It expires and the sins keep on pilling up and so judgment keep on pilling up as well. There was a different high priest that showed up. The Bible said after offering his blood once He sat down by the right hand of God. The high priest in the Old Testament does not seat down because their works never finishes but the Bible said after this particular High Priest offered His blood, he sat down by the right hand of God Almighty.
Hebrews 10:12 says: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;(KJV)

Therefore, you don’t need to offer anymore sacrifice. His blood speaks mercy and proclaims your inheritance. When you proclaim His blood, all that the blood has brought you will begin to manifest.
Hebrews 10:13-14 says: From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.(KJV)

3 Levels of Salvation:
1. Regeneration. The moment you got born again, your spirit is re-created.
2. Salvation of the soul, the mind, the intellect. It happens as you expose yourself to the mind of God.
3. Salvation of the body. This is the highest level of salvation.
Romans 8:24 says: For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?(NKJV)
Hebrews 10:14 says: For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.(KJV)
The same blood that took care of our salvation is the same blood that takes care of my spirit, soul and body. The tool of sanctification which is the blood of Jesus is able to preserve your body, soul and spirit.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 says: Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.(NKJV)

REVELATION 12:11 - AND THEY OVERCAME HIM BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB AND BY THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY, AND THEY DID NOT LOVE THEIR LIVES TO THE DEATH.(NKJV)

The Power Of The Blood Of Jesus

Revelation 12:10 says: Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.(NKJV)

Where there is sin, satan manifests, but when the accuser of the brethren is taken care of, there will be strength and power. You cannot exercise dominion over satan when there is sin.

There are three grounds of satan’s accusation but the blood takes care of them. There are weapons that God has given us to conquer satan, one is the blood of the lamb, second testimony and third sacrifice.

The sin of Adam had three different places it had affected. First, the sin of Adam affected God and heaven. God usually come down and fellowship with Adam, God created man so that He can commune with man. Sin tempered God’s fellowship with man.

Hebrews 9:22 says: And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.(NKJV)

Sin is not a product of your action. It is the product of your constitution; it is not who you are but what you do.

Hebrews 9:23 says; Therefore it was necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.(NKJV)

Romans 3:9 says: What then? Are we better than they? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin.(NKJV)

The Jews could not associate with people who are not Jews; they believed they were better than them. Apostle Paul was asking them whether they are better than others.

Gentiles are people that are not Jews and they are not in the church. Before Jesus Christ came, Apostle Paul was talking about the condition of humanity. Is true that God had a special arrangement with the Jews but because He is God every human being is equal before him.

Romans 3:10-12 says: As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one."(NKJV)

Even with our best intentions, there is none who seeks God. This is what the sin of Adam caused.

Romans 3:13-20 says: "Their throat is an open tomb; With their tongues they have practiced deceit"; "The poison of asps is under their lips"; "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness." "Their feet are swift to shed blood; Destruction and misery are in their ways; And the way of peace they have not known." "There is no fear of God before their eyes." Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.(NKJV)

There is nothing you can do by your power to gain acceptance by God.

Romans 3:21-23 says: But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,(NKJV)

This is the condition of humanity, nobody escaped this condition.

Hebrews 10:1 says: For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect.(NKJV)

Satan always wants us to commit sin because sin provokes judgment. Sin consciousness has done the greatest damage to humanity. Most times we go into the body of Christ with this sin consciousness, faith cannot be exercised with sin consciousness, you cannot overcome satan with sin consciousness. Therefore there has to be a sacrifice that will take care of sin consciousness, the Old Testament could not handle this, but the blood of Jesus was able to completely handle it.

Hebrews 10:21-22 says: and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.(NKJV)

Sin gave satan a legal ground to become the accuser of brethren. Sin gave him a legal ground to do what he loves doing which is accusation.

Zechariah 3:1 says: Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him.(NKJV)

What gave satan the boldness to come before God to accuse Joshua the high priest?

Zechariah 3:3 says: Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel.(NKJV)

This was what gave satan the boldness to oppose Joshua. Sin was responsible for his opposition.

Zechariah 3:4 says: Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, "Take away the filthy garments from him." And to him He said, "See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes."(NKJV)

Hebrews 10:5-13 says; Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure. Then I said, 'Behold, I have come-- In the volume of the book it is written of Me-- To do Your will, O God."' Previously saying, "Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor had pleasure in them" (which are offered according to the law), then He said, "Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God." He takes away the first that He may establish the second. By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool.(NKJV)

In the Old Testament there were different implements of worship, but there was no chair, this is an implication that the work of the priest is never finished. But when Christ offered His blood, he sat down before the Most High because it is finished.

Hebrews 10:14 says: For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.(NKJV)

After satan’s accusation, Jesus showed up. The blood of Jesus took care of satan’s accusation and gives us the boldness to enter into the Holiest. When you make mistakes don’t allow a second to pass you bye, plead the blood of Jesus for mercy.

Hebrews 10:17-19 says: then He adds, "Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more." Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin. Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,(NKJV)

The second way the blood of Jesus takes care of sin is by removing sin consciousness. If you know that you have committed sin the best thing to do is to plead the blood. Whatever issue you find yourself in, stand your ground and ask God for forgiveness.

THE KNOWLEDGE YOU NEED TO CONQUER

Revelation 12:10-11says: Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.(NKJV)

There is a method behind temptation. satan lures God’s people to sin and then go before God to accuse them. Temptation is usually followed by accusation and then results in spiritual intimidation and defeat and finally becomes a capture by satan. At the first stage bad things begins to happen. What starts as a battle in their mind starts manifesting as a battle in live.

The source of temptation is satanic powers led by satan himself. It was satan that tempted Eve in the garden, it was him that tempted Christ as well. The purpose of temptation is to make you disobey God. satan uses temptation to severe the relationship you have with God. When you sin you lose fellowship with God and not relationship. Sin severe fellowship with God. When your wife sin against you as a husband and at the same time she is asking you to renew the promise you made to her, you will not likely do that immediately. Living in sin blocks fellowship, until the problem is solved. In marriage for instance when that fellowship is broken what is the woman supposed to do? Ask for forgiveness. The penalty for sin is death. Jesus has died for you, what you need to do is to acknowledge that you’ve sinned and that is settled.

1 John 1:9 says: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.(NKJV)

1 John 1:6 says: If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.(NKJV)

You cannot be living in sin and be maintaining fellowship with God at the same time. Adam and Eve sinned and their fellowship with God was broken.

1 John 1:7 says: But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.(NKJV)

The blood cleanses you from sin. When you are with God, you enjoy constant fellowship and the blood of Jesus takes care of you cleansing all forms of iniquities.
When you sin and you know it, you must confess it and be free. You confess your sin before God and that makes you whole. If you don’t, you will not enjoy fellowship with God anymore.

Hebrews 10:21-22 says: and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.(NKJV)

The evil conscious here is unbelief, guilt and condemnation. You must confess your sins and plead the blood for cleansing so that you may be whole again and be free.

Hebrews 9:9 says: It was symbolic for the present time in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered which cannot make him who performed the service perfect in regard to the conscience--(NKJV)

Hebrews 9:11 says: But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.(NKJV)

Jesus did not offer for us the blood of animals but His own blood.

Hebrews 9:14 says: how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?(NKJV)

This purifies the outward man and removes judgment.
The Old Testament provided atonement but the New Testament provided more than atonement, it provided REMISSION. Atonement is covering of sin so that judgment will not come on you; it is possible for it to be opened again.

Leviticus 17:11 says: For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.'(NKJV)

Remission erases records so that nothing will be there anymore. The blood of Jesus removes and remits sins. It is true that atonement worked because the people of the Old Testament were able to escape by it, the blood kept David until he finished his reign. Atonement is better than nothing. But we have something better than atonement, which is the blood of Jesus.

Isaiah 43:25 says: "I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins.(NKJV)

With the help of atonement when God looks at you He does not see your condition but your position in Christ. He sees you through the eyes of the Lamb. He can’t see what you’ve done.

Hebrews 10:5-6 says: Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You had no pleasure.(NKJV)

Atonement does not produce a perfect result. You walk around carrying your conscience. The blood of Jesus gives you boldness before the father and also before the accuser of the brethren (satan).

Hebrews 10:21-22 says: and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.(NKJV)

This is an assurance that comes from the blood. The blood sacrifice is the basis for unshakable faith.

Hebrews 10:23 says: Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.(NKJV)

You speak a word of faith and stand your ground because you know that he will do it. God is not a man that He will lie.

Hebrews 4:15 says: For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.(NKJV)

Repentance by the blood gets you cleansed. Guilt makes people run away from God. The blood of Jesus makes it possible for people to keep having fellowship and friendship with God.

Hebrews 4:16 says: Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.(NKJV)

Mercy deals with punishment that we deserve by taking the punishment away while grace makes it possible for us to receive favour that we don’t deserve. We obtain mercy and grace through the blood. Mercy takes punishment away from us while grace gives us the unmerited favour. Love has mercy and grace together.

Our condition may not be perfect but our position is perfect. He was made poor that we may be rich. We apply the blood by faith; faith is the law of appropriation.
The law of appropriation in the New Testament is the transfer of what is available in your position (spiritual realm) into your physical condition. You are sick but healed by His stripes, poor but you are rich, weak but strong. If you have to suffer in life that means the sacrifice that Christ made for you on the cross has been made counterfeit. The Lord is merciful and gracious, this is His nature. You can’t have faith on ignorance; you have to start enforcing what Christ did for you in reality. What is said in the scripture does not automatically happen, it has to be enforced. You need to fight the good fight of faith, command the enemy to take his hand off your inheritance. Your inheritance is translated from the spiritual to the physical by faith. Faith is found in your heart and in your mouth.

Romans 10:8 says: But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach):(NKJV)

You must speak the word and act on it.

2 Peter 1:3 says: as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,(NKJV)

1 Peter 1:3-5 says: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.(NKJV)

The first thing in gaining your inheritance is to know and understand it. God has written a book to let you know what your inheritance is because noting is yours until you know it. You cannot take possession without knowledge.

Romans 10:9 says: that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.(NKJV)

If you release your faith into motion, it attracts things. Get the knowledge of your provision first, secondly believe in the provisions of the knowledge, then speak the words into your reality and finally act on it accordingly.  The favour of God can give you what you don’t deserve. God will give you what you are looking for base on your capacity. Until your faith is actioned it is auctioned. Work as if everything depends on work and pray as if everything depends on prayer. Then your faith and prayer will meet at a junction. Faith has to be spoken for it to create manifestation.

James 2:22 says: Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?(NKJV)
