PUT ON THE ARMOR OF GOD (Stand)

Ephesians 6:10-11 says: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.(NKJV)
The word of God told us to put on the armor of God so that we can stand the wiles of satan. satan has no power over a believer; he can only exercise power  over a man who does not know God (a non believer).
Colossians 1:13 says: He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,(NKJV)
As long as you are not under the authority of satanic kingdom, satan has no authority over you.
God leased the earth to the sons of man. This was originally leased to Adam (Humanity as a whole). God gave him two clear options and he accepted one, Adam accepted satan and satan collected all that belongs to him.

Ephesians 6:12 says: For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.(NKJV)

You don’t have to declare someone as your enemy. When somebody is acting negatively, you should know that there is something acting in him. Satan uses his wiles to manipulate those who are under his authority.

BELT OF TRUTH
There are certain ways a believer should work and act. You cannot be saved and yet your salvation will not affect your way of life. The genuine test of ministry is transformed lives.

Romans 8:9 says: But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.(KJV)

1 John 3:7 says: Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.(KJV)

Ephesians 6:14 says: Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,(NKJV)

STAND is the predominant word in this part of Ephesians. You stand because everything has been made available for you. You are not pursuing anything rather working in faith. Faith is not about what you will do, is appropriating what has been accomplished. God is not preparing anything for you; He is simply preparing you for what he has made for you. To stand is to resist the enemy. You are the chief law enforcement officer in your destiny, whatever you enforce will be enforced and whatever you refuse to enforce will not be enforced.

Ephesians 6:11 says: Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.(KJV)

The Wiles of the devil here means his tricks, guiles, slyness, cunnings, craftiness, wiliness, skills, his techniques.
John 17:17 says: Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.(KJV)

The belt of truth speaks of the word of truth. The belt of truth is used to protect the reproductive organs of the Roman soldier. Truth is essential for reproduction. God requires you to be responsible for other people.

Hebrews 5:12 says: For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.(NKJV)

It is a natural stage of spiritual growth. You don’t have to be among those who go to church only when they are begged to do so. Every believer must be responsible for other people. Jesus expects us to produce disciples that will be like him. It is the belt of truth that makes this possible.
The belt of truth talks about understanding of the word of God, the revelation of God’s word and secondly you use the word to raise sons of God.

Ephesians 1:17-18 says: That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,(KJV)

Part of the belt of truth is abiding in God’s word. You will not be able to reproduce without abiding in God’s word.

BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
The breastplate of righteousness talks of the nature of God. The moment you give your life to Christ that nature is given to you.

2 Corinthians 5:21 says: For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.(KJV)
Your existence is not dependent on your righteousness; rather your spiritual existence is dependent on the righteousness of God.

1 John 3:7 says: Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.(KJV)
There is righteous practice. Sin prepares ground for satan to act. When you make a mistake repent of it immediately.

Mark 6:7-8 says: And he called [unto him] the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits; And commanded them that they should take nothing for [their] journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in [their] purse:(KJV)
This means a person who preaches the gospel should live of the gospel. The brethren should equally be a blessing to the preacher who is blessing them.

Mark 6:9 says: but to wear sandals, and not to put on two tunics.(NKJV)
You are supposed to be winning souls. You can’t be living your life without winning souls. There is a penalty for not preaching the gospel. Your sandal is your armor for soul winning. Evangelism is part of your armor. Every time a person is preaching, he is first conducting his deliverance and then that of others.

SHIELD OF FAITH
Ephesians 6:16 says: above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.(NKJV)
Sin is a fiery darts. satan keep on firing it to subdue you. God gave us the Shield of Faith to defend ourselves. Whenever satan fires, your first option is to declare the word of God. Command things from the realm of the spirit by faith and it begin to manifest. Faith is the equipment we use to push the enemy aside.

HELMET OF SALVATION
Philippians 4:8 says: Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things.(NKJV)

Don’t be the kind of person that spread gossips and false information because faith comes by hearing. If somebody comes to sow seed of fear around you, remember that the word of God is true, it does not change.
