Your growth is dependent on the size of your world. Your
world is the space you have to function. Whatever you get in life depends on
the world you function in. The biggest inhibiting factor is the internal
factors. Your biggest victory is internal. Every defeat begins from the inside
as every victory begins from the inside.
This is the period of harvest. God works with
calendar. God requires us to be able to tell the seasons and time. We have the
Holy Ghost within us and salvation. God requires to know where we are at every
point in time.
Luke 5:1-5 says:
So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God, that He
stood by the Lake of Gennesaret, and saw two boats standing by the lake; but
the fishermen had gone from them and were washing their nets. Then He got into
one of the boats, which was Simon's, and asked him to put out a little from the
land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. When He had
stopped speaking, He said to Simon, "Launch out into the deep and let down
your nets for a catch." But Simon answered and said to Him, "Master,
we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will
let down the net."(NKJV)
Sometimes someone has a problem and you ask him “do
you want to be delivered from this problem?” and you find him telling the story
of his problem because he believe that when he do that, he will win sympathy. God
is not moved by sympathy but He can have compass. As Jesus instructed Simon
Peter, Simon Peter did not end up in disobedience but he surmounted his past
experience and let down the net. Whatever you get from God is dependent on you.
God does not determine your capacity, what you ask for is what He will do for
you. Your harvest will never go beyond your capacity to receive.
God does not confirm your word, He confirms His word.
God’s word supersedes all our wisdom and experiences. You just have to act on
it. God is responsible for only what He says and not what you say. If you have
to get Him working in your life, say what He is saying only. God wants you to
study His word so that you can know His spirit. The spirit of the word is the
motive behind the word. If God is asking you for instance to live a holy life,
what does He stands to benefit and what does the man loose when he does not
obey. Before God’s word can change your situation it will first change your
mind. He transforms you internally and then He transforms you externally. No
matter what God is saying over your situation, you must say what He is saying
before it will come to pass.
Keys To
Expanding Your World.
1. Thanksgiving:
Whatever you thank God for will flourish. You might
not be where you want to be but you thank God because you are not where you
used to be. God inhabits the praises of His people. Nothing finishes in the
hand of a thanks-giver. A barren woman cannot produce fruit. There are
particular defeats in your family, unproductivity is following. The first thing
you do in a crisis determines what happens to you in that crisis. You need to
make positive declarations.
Isaiah 54:1
says: "Sing, barren woman, who has never had a baby. Fill the air with
song, you who've never experienced childbirth! You're ending up with far more
children than all those childbearing women." GOD says so!(MSG)
You have to stop complaining and begin to give thanks
to God; murmuring strengthens the hands of satan over a bad situation. Nothing
dries up in the hands of a thanks-giver. God is so big that He cannot owe
anybody, He will not receive glory and you remain in that situation you are
giving Him thanks. As you thank Him you will begin to see the manifestation, thanksgiving
establishes you.
2. Take Personal
Responsibility
Isaiah 54:2
says: "Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the
curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen
your stakes.(NKJV)
You need not to give all the responsibilities to
God. The bible said enlarge your tent, take responsibility. When you see a man
that cannot take responsibility he will never provide solution. There is no one
who take personal responsibility and still does well. God ask Adam not to eat
of the tree, but Adam said it was the woman you gave me. He refuses to take
responsibility. God gave talent to 3 people and the last one hid the talent and
God punished him for doing that. Saw refused to do what God ask him to do and
when God asked him, he said it is the people that decided to keep them.
Irresponsibility is what God does not tolerate. Stop blaming people for your
problems and where you are. You have to take personal responsibility over
circumstances and responsibilities.
3. Step Out in
Faith:
You need to begin to act on the pictures of your
vision that you are seeing. Faith requires corresponding action, if you don’t
act it out, it will not manifest. It might look like you are faking it, but you
are manifesting it soonest. Sometimes you need to move out of the people and
begin to act out your conviction. Stop burdening about what people are saying
about you. You need to begin to act out what you believe.
Isaiah 54:1-3
says: "Sing, barren woman, who has never had a baby. Fill the air with
song, you who've never experienced childbirth! You're ending up with far more
children than all those childbearing women." GOD says so! "Clear lots
of ground for your tents! Make your tents large. Spread out! Think big! Use
plenty of rope, drive the tent pegs deep. You're going to need lots of elbow
room for your growing family. You're going to take over whole nations; you're
going to resettle abandoned cities.(MSG)
4. Your
Confession:
With your mouth you expand your world. To get something
bigger in life you need to start speaking it. You need to tell yourself you are
rising better. Start saying what you want to see, voice out your expectation
and you see it manifesting.
5. Information
What limits you is what you don’t know. The number
one force that limits you is ignorance. You need to acquire information to
expand your world.
6. Networking
Anything that can be achieved can be transferred. You
need to build relationships and expand your world, sometimes you need to change
your environment and some relationships. Interact with the right kind of people
and surround yourself with people that inspire you and not people that expires
you.
7. Prayer
8. Seed Sowing
Proverbs 11:24
says: There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who
withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty.(NKJV)
The two people here are givers, the first one gives
without limitation and the second gives and withholds what he should give and
his giving produces poverty.
Proverbs
11:24-25 says: The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of
the stingy gets smaller and smaller. The one who blesses others is abundantly
blessed; those who help others are helped.(MSG)
